OPI - My Vampire is Buff

Going neutral for this weekend with OPI - My Vampire is Buff. It is a beige color with white undertone and it is at the brighter shade in the neutral color range. Unlike certain neutral color, this beige color had just provided the correct tone that is not too chalky or too nude. I had a few neutral colors with darker undertone or mauve that look too close to my skin tone and it turn out to be like a no nail hands. But this color, just nice for me. =)

Here, I've applied 1 coat of OPI Natural Base Coat, 3 coats of varnish, and finished it with 1 coat of Seche Vite top coat......

Wait, 3 coats for a creme nail polish? Yes, 3 coats. This is actually a draw back of this nail polish. I found OPI nail polishes always have nice formula but this one, seems to be like an exception. I normally apply 2 coats for creme nail polishes and 3 for the sheer ones. But this, the first layer of application is pretty streaky. The second layer is, well, much better but the intensity of opaqueness is not there. I need the third layer to get the satisfied result. I've tried this color twice and both times had the same situation. It is kind of a slight disappointment here and I wish that the formula could be better as the color is pretty lovely.

Well, I am not too sure whether I should call this my favourite neutral nail polish. The color is pretty lovely but the formula is a draw back. I just wish the formula is better and I will definitely call this my favourite neutral nail polish.
